I've just come back from having 2 piercings from Kathryn, and have had 6 others throughout the last 4 months at various appointments. In addition, downsizing has been carried out. And I am most definitely going back at some point for more! Each welcome to The Black Sage Gallery is always warm and friendly. Kathryn talked me through the process, checked in regularly, offered a break, chatted all the way through to put me at ease and also said, and meant it, that we could stop at any point, just do the one, or just the 2, etc each time. She gives plenty of time for each appointment to make sure everything is top notch, put the client at ease, goes through jewellery options and possibilities, healing processes etc. I also love the fact that there's a whole host of jewellery to choose from, from reputable companies, that Kathryn is more than happy to order in and drop a message when it's in to sort out the fitting. As you can guess by the number of piercings, I'm no stranger to piercers and tattoo artists. I can honestly say that Kathryn and Rob are some of the good ones! I'll go back for more piercings, and I'm going in for tattoos, too. Thank you both, for the amazing appointments and chats, consultations and the little slice of different in the town. I'm so glad you moved to the studio here and looking forward to what the future holds for both The Black Sage Gallery and The Vegan Piercer. Thanks again and I'll see you both soon! 😊

The Black Sage Gallery is truly a gem. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your experience is nothing short of perfect. Kathryn, who did my piercing, was incredibly helpful and made me feel at ease throughout the process. Amy, who did my tattoo, showcased her amazing talent and made sure I was comfortable and happy with the design. Their accommodating nature makes you feel right at home, and their supportive attitude ensures you have everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. I've had the pleasure of visiting several times, and each experience has been brilliant. The consistency in their exceptional service is remarkable. Every time I leave, I do so with a heart full of happiness with what I have had done. I can't recommend it enough.

I've just returned from having my second tattoo done at Black Sage Gallery. The first I had with Rob 2 years ago, and I couldn't fault the experience. This time I had Amy, who like Rob, is also meticulous and focused. She checked in regularly to make sure I was doing okay, and her calm demeanor really helped me stay relaxed. The final result exceeded my expectations. The lines are crisp, the shading is perfect, and the overall design is exactly what I wanted. It's clear that Amy is a true artist, and she puts a lot of care and attention into her work. If you're looking for a talented and professional tattoo artist, I highly recommend Amy at Black Sage Gallery. Her skill, professionalism, and friendly approach made the entire experience enjoyable. I'm thrilled with my new tattoo and wouldn't hesitate to go back for future work. Based on what I've had done today, my husband is now planning to have his next tattoo with Amy.

I had an amazing first experience at the Black Sage Gallery From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel at ease and welcomed. The atmosphere was very relaxing, which really helped calm any nerves I had. Great session with Amy, she took on design brief, came up with perfect design, and also amended it to suit on site, placement was spot on and even though it was a sensitive spot she made light of it, will definitely be back I love her style!

Went for a piercing downsize. Kathryn went through everything with me and was super friendly. Kathryn showed me a variety of piercings with a range of prices. It was a lovely environment and I was made to feel safe and welcome. She answered questions about possibly changing another piercing of mine and was professional. Will go back!

Fantastic when you can find a studio you trust. Rob has reworked all my old tattoos and designed and done most of my body tattoos. Kathryn has also done all my recent peircings. I will only use these guys from now on. 5 starts. Edit November 24. I have now been tattooed here by Amy, and the two she did for me today are amazing, will definitely be getting more tattoos by Amy as well as by Rob! Fantastic studio

Had my lip pierced today, was a little nervous as its my first piercing in 15 years! Kathryn was lovely and immediately I wasn't so nervous. Would highly recommend! Before and after care was very thorough and was told I could contact any time if I had any questions. Will definitely be going back again. Hopefully tattoo next!
