Very friendly helpful staff. Needed a riding hat, jodhpurs and gloves for my petit 4 Yr old and they was all stocked here, among other necessary equipment. Fabulous shop, so glad I was recommended to visit as came away a happy customer. (Have since returned for more!!)

My daughter is always excited to visit here as she's mad about horses. The staff are pleasant, knowledgeable and really go the extra mile to assist customers in choosing the right clothing and equipment and, most helpfully, how and why to choose. For me as an equine-clueless dad it's educational. Definitely recommend this place.

What a fantastic store. I’ve used It for many years and once again they exceeded my expectation. I took my clippers that had stopped working, Andrew was able to check them there and then. He had them working within seconds, checked them to see if service was necessary and I went away with working clippers at no cost. Thank you Andrew. He also recommended the Old Smithy near by where we had an excellent lunch. What great service.

We have visited Eccleshall Saddlery many times. We can always park outside which is free parking. From outside it is deceiving as doesn't look very big but it is a horse person's dream inside. They stock a huge range of items for all budgets. Their sales are phenomenal, yesterday we got Le Mieux saddle pad, ears and brushing boots for the price of pad alone at other places. They stock everything in a massive range of makes and colours - stable items, grooming items, clothing of all sorts and makes, boots , head collars, lotions and potions ( hoof oil, shampoo etc) hi-vis , saddle pads , all types of boots, rugs, bridles, stirrups and leathers, saddles. They have a second hand area ( cash only for this part) Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Absolutely worth visiting.

Today I’ve had the best experience choosing new riding boots (and for a man who is a size 11 - this can be a real challenge!) Honestly, I cannot tell you how helpful the staff were, they were so friendly and so kind. They went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly the right boots and made sure they fitted me perfectly and that I was 100% happy. For the record… I made the staff aware from the very beginning that I was NOT a horse rider or equestrian trained at all, but rather that these boots were for an alternative use - for my professional and traditional circus ring master uniform for my upcoming shows… but they still valued my custom and treated it exactly the same with the most respect and put me, my wife and young son at total ease. I cannot thank these guys enough for everything they did today and I’m so happy with my new boots and wish you all the success in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone! We popped in on our way home from a day out in Manchester. My daughter needed an up to date body protector for this weekends competitions and I happened to find this diamond of a shop on our way back to wales. The owners were super helpful and brilliant with my tired little girl and managed to find a fantastic deal for us on a second hand body protector. Although the saddlery is over a 2 hour drive away from our home base I will 100% be back to spend more money than I’ll tell my husband closer to Christmas. They have an aladdins cave of goodies for all equestrians with a variety that made me want to cry and my purse open with joy :) reasonable competitive pricing really doesn’t help with the amount you could spend here after all they where all bargains !

Myself and my wife, who is the horse rider here 😁. Went into the store to buy boots, gillets, and jodhpurs had exemplary service from the owner especially where the boots were concerned. He was patient, knowledgeable, attentive with no stone unturned to ensure the fit was correct !! I’m the first to moan should I receive poor service. Not always to leave a review for ok service. This wasn’t just ok service this was first class service from days gone by. Thank you so much my wife is delighted with the items purchased and we are grateful for fantastic service offered. HIGHLY RECOMENDED !!
