My son has been having lessons here for about 6 months. The staff and even their skateboarder friends are really encouraging with all the kids there. Great place and my son loves it here.

What a wonderful place!, great setup!-indoor skate ramps you can rent by the hour for your own private sole use along with expert friendly tuition if needed. Quality stock of anything skateboard related and a superb clothing choice!. My son absolutely loved this place, not only did he get a complete individual new board set up but had several lessons over a few days to which he enjoyed immensely! - Thank you so much!. Highly recommended!- Brilliant!

We visited Dissent on a family holiday in Scarborough back in August when my eldest son needed replacement bearings. The owner was welcoming, clearly knew his stuff and was very honest about what we did (and didn’t) need, making sure we only bought what was suitable for my son’s board at that time. He also changed the bearings while we waited, which saved a potential headache for me later on! Very happy with our experience and will definitely contact this shop again for any other parts etc in future.

Just been to Dissent Skate Shop for some cruiser wheels. Fantastic service, amazing products, an absolute Jem of a place. Will definately go back there and the owner, what a great guy 👍🙂

My son had a 1-1 lesson with Blandy. He absolutely loved it and made so much progress in an hour. The teaching was spot on and the indoor skate ramps are the perfect environment to learn in. Thank you!

Didn't have what I was after in stock, so I sent a message to them on Instagram & they ordered it in for me next day! Unreal service & the pricing is the cheapest I could find online too. Highly recommend!
