Great service as always I’ve used JT skates 3 times now. I converted my ice skates into roller skates they look amazing. They are super knowledgeable when it comes to the different parts and recommendations. It’s easy for conversion to go wrong if done incorrectly as my friend went to another shop that was cheaper and they messed up his skates. so I definitely recommend this place for top tire service and any advice if you need it.

October 7, 2023, I went to JT Skate to replace the wheels on my inline skates. The owner was very friendly and very professional. I saw that he had knowledge about skating and everything about it; he did an excellent job, and we had a nice conversation. I highly recommend that JT Skate Shop. I am extremely happy 😊, and for sure,when I need anything, I definitely come back..

BEFORE YOU BUY FROM THIS SHOP READ THIS REVIEW. I literally never leave reviews, but for the price of these skates, I need others to know how POOR the service and quality is at JT Skates. I bought these skates 3 days ago. I went to the shop in person and watched them assemble the skates from scratch. I asked their refund policy and they said no refunds but if I needed any issues sorted, they can do it for free, I will just need to buy the parts (if needed) which was fair enough. I used them today for the first time and skated for barely 10 minutes before my toe stopped fell out of my left boot whilst skating and tripped me up causing me to have a really bad fall. I tried to screw it back in as you typically do with toe stops and it go jammed with the stop jutting out which meant I could not skate without dragging on it which would be dangerous. I called the number on Google and got no answer for ages. I got my boyfriend to call too as I was stranded and needed to take the stop out so I could at least skate to the nearest bus stop to go home. I called the number for the shop and he finally answered and I told him the whole issue and about how I fell over because they did not put my skates together properly.He replied with ‘what do you want me to do about that, people fall what do you expect me to do’ which was very rude and dismissive. I said what do you mean I just told you the issue and I’m calling for help on how to get it out. He then started blaming me saying I should have checked the toe stops. I bought these skates 3 days ago, watched them assemble it in the shop from scratch, and had only skated for 10 minutes before this happened. I asked why I should have checked them when they were brand new and they screwed them in for me. He told me ‘we screw them in loose because not everyone uses toe stops’. He basically admitted to purposefully putting customers in danger because they DO NOT tell you this when they build the skates for you. If I had known, I would have tightened them. I said then I will come to shop so I they can re-fit my stoppers and he said I couldn’t even though when I initially bought the boots (which are considerably more expensive than most other shops selling the same skates) they said I can get any adjustments or work done for free, I just need to buy the parts. This made me believe the extra money was worth it. And now not even a week later they have turned to me and said I cannot get my stopped fitted back in. He then proceeded to tell me it was my fault because I must be a new skater, I told him I have been skating for a few years so I am sure it wasn’t user error. He then went on to belittled and pick on me saying people who are actually good and experienced at skating don’t wear toe stops at all. I was shocked at how rude and degrading his response was. It’s like telling someone who has been riding a bike for years that they shouldn’t be wearing a helmet if they’re so good and degrading them for it. I wear top stops because it makes me feel comfortable skating, end of. Every time I tried to defend myself or advocate for myself he would laugh and sigh down the phone at me like I was stupid. He did this 4 times in the space of an 11 minute conversation. I have never experienced such rude, degrading and unhelpful customer service. I brought then attention back to the issue at hand, the jammed toe stop, and he said maybe if I went and ‘got a man to help me’ I would be able to do it. So add misogynistic comments to the list of things he has now said to me. All through this he has given me no help or advice apart from find a ‘strong man’ and ‘find a YouTube video’. I wish I had looked at the reviews before as there is another review that says the staff were very condescending to them too when they were trying to buy their skates. The worst experience I have ever had with customer service and shopping for items. I would recommend you don’t shop here because not only are they condescending and unhelpful, they are also selling dangerous products & misleading customers.

Came here today with my little brother to buy his first ever skateboard. JT was very friendly and extremely helpful and gave great advice on which board would suit him best. My brother was very nervous coming in but was treated warmly which put him at ease. He’s so excited to try out his skateboard!! I gotta give 5 stars for the great service.
