A dream place for comic lovers! We came across this just as we're about to exit Camden Market.. and we waltzed right in! We were impressed at the collection that this place has. For comic lovers, this must not be missed. In fact, we do think we could have stayed in here longer if we weren't pressed for time 😂. Let's dive in! Collection: Wow to the collections from the 1st series till current for many different comics., eg X-Men. We walked around and felt the urge to go through one by one. Service: Staff was very very welcoming. Greeted us with a smile and asked us if we needed any assistance. Despite us being tourists and window shopping, she was very professional at her job. Kept smiling all the way. Location: Slightly hidden from main road, but you will not miss it once you on Inverness, Camden Market. It is just about 2mins away from the train, from our walking pace.. so yeah.. We highly recommend for fellow tourists to just pop over and see for yourself, subjected to you having time ya.. 🫢🫢😀😀 Cheers !

I was heartbroken (and cynical) about the changes to Mega City, until I actually stopped by the freshly painted shop. While the white walls do rob it of some charm, it still has the same heart. It’s the same brilliant people running the same brilliant shop. There’s more figures and Pops than this old head can appreciate, but there's still some great new books and they can order pretty much anything you could ask for. They’re still great for a recommendation, chatting all manner of mainstream, wild and weird books, and they’ll still manage subscriptions in a friendly relaxed way. I’m still a little sad about the change, but even so, it’s still one of the best comic shops in London and well worth a stop.

No nostalgia, no feelings unfortunately this shop is kind a belong to the center of London , not to an area like Camdon. Beside this I wanted to buy a displayed statue for 50£ (Fallout 4 Maximus) … but they brought another with different price 59.99£ … and I refused to pay for it .. It will be a waste of time and energy . No disrespect to anyone but the entire atmosphere was not right and confusing ! And still give it 2 star with the hope they bring back the old good history of comic books …

Fantastic place to find a superb range of old & new comics and graphic novels plus a good selection for budding kids also. We were greeted with a welcoming smile when we entered and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It was great to be able to find a collection of Dark Horse Conan comics all in one pack to make life that much easier! Definitely will be coming back when they restock.

Absolutely loved this place! Fantastic for browsing back-issues and even getting complete collection packs of issues of some top-notch titles. I was really blown away by some of the stuff they got here, definitely worth your time if you’re into issue hunting (or if you prefer trades, too! They got it all!)

One of the few remaining Independent comic book stores left in London, Mega City Comics has survived and is still standing. Located in Inverness Street Market Camden, it is just a short walk from Camden Town Tube Station and the Northern Line (2 minutes). The store is well stocked with those Comics that may be missing from your collection. They also have a good range of graphic novels. However, if you are looking for Manga, they have a limited collection.

Mega City Comics is like a wonderland of comics if you love comics that is. The shop is located in the heart of Camden not far from the station on Inverness street. Not only can you shop for comics on this road but it has some great restaurants and a classic record shop where you can buy vinyls “nice” so you can brush off the record player and read some old comics. The shop has been open since 1987 that’s around 35 years “wow” they sell classics and modern collectibles, Batman, superman, Spider-Man and a great range of Manga and loads more, I mean how many of us wish we owned the first ever superman comic now? You can browse for ages in this fully stocked shop, I bought a comic book about bob Marley’s life just because it looked so unique plus I love Bib Marley of course. They really, really have a massive range and it’s so great to see some of the great classic comic drawings close up. The owner has been into selling comics for over 40 years, at the counter you might be lucky enough to be served by Josh he is an expert in all things comic (official comic geek) they are priceless, and can be found only in this shop, he goes on to tell me that the owner has probably forgotten more than most people will ever learn about comics. All in all this a a fantastic and unique shop and definitely worth a visit.

Excellent comic store. I visited as they have bought in Brian Bolland personal comic collection and were selling some very unusual and unexpected comics at reasonable prices. The Bolland collection is sublime, he is as much an artist as a fan with items signed to him from a variety of people. The shop is well stocked with considerable quantities of back issues and the gang are worth asking for specific titles. Martin, Josh and Jack are quietly pleasant, engaging as required and knowledgeable in comics. Definitely worth a visit.
