What a disappointing experience...I chose some cards from a box marked 5 for a £1'only to be abruptly told by a bespectacled man on 4th. June that they were £2 for a pack..on pointing out that they from the aforementioned box he shouted they were in the wrong box..what all the rest as well as they were mostly marked a £1 each...I couldn't be bothered to argue.Sad as I had been to same charity store the previous day in Broadstairs and it was great.. Will not be returning to Eastbourne Cancer Research charity shop..Will spend my pennies elsewhere!!!

I was delighted to find a Jaeger jacket with a matching cashmere jumper! However, when I went to purchase the items I was asked to pay £28; which quickly escalated to £38, I was satisfied with my purchase despite the unclear labelling. When I returned home I was horrified to discover the jumper had many a holes in the knit, including some rather unsightly sewing repairs. I returned to the shop to address the problem as I felt that £18 for a jumper with impairments was a tad extortionate for my wallet - I was received with nothing but offensive customer service from the manager, I informed her that i would still like to purchase the garment just at a more reasonable price, the label informed me of no impairments to the garment. she returned the item for me and wouldn't allow me to re purchase the item! Feeling as if another customer would purchase the hole ridden jumper for that price. I was told the garment would have to be re-priced and sorted, and that it was now not for sale! I cannot help but feel entirely offended by the situation, with a willing customer at the ready cancer research should be grateful to receive this donation! Clearly the intent was not to welcome money for a well deserved charity but was rather more occupied with providing a rude customer service. I now have a jacket, which I love, without it's counter part 😥 I will not be returning to this store, and subsequently will not be giving any of my hard earned money to this store. Good luck cancer research in selling a hole ridden jumper!

Over priced, IE double the price for a cd than all the other charity shops in Lewes and the staff are just moronic rude idiots. They have a bad attitude.
