I had a genuinely lovely experience at this branch. I used their embroidery service to personalise a birthday present and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. A young lady assisted me with a rather specific request – getting the katakana spelling exactly right – and she was incredibly accommodating throughout the process. Her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile truly stood out. I’m so grateful for the care and effort she put into it. I only wish I’d caught her name to thank her properly. A brilliant service all round.

The absolute best!!! They have the best staff. I have been there twice and both the times, they were extremely helpful and kind. Everyone is willing to help and assist you. They were kind enough to even provide me honest feedback on the clothes that I tried on❤️ which really helped me narrow down and shop the best fit. Their clothes are also of great quality. I think Uniqlo has now become a staple in my wardrobe and the Edinburgh store and it's staff are amazing ❤️

Amazing shop and product quality, but be aware - returns are not as straightforward as you might expect. If you return one item and later decide to return another from the same purchase, you won’t get a refund unless you provide an updated receipt. I had the original receipt, but it was no longer valid after the first return. Will have to turn the house upside down to find the revised one now! The process feels unnecessarily complicated, especially since many retailers issue online receipts - yet in this case, the online receipt gets cancelled after a return. You can do better!

I usually choose this brand for shopping, but their café is also a wonderful spot to take a break. The stunning view of Edinburgh is bonus, and the matcha latte and others were great too.

I love Uniqlo. However, this shop was a bit let down for me. First I think the display has to be restructured. I feel like they could have made the first floor for female and second for male and kids. I simply do not want to go up and down to search for items. It is understandable if they have more than two floors. But with only two stories, it's just very inconvenient for customers having to go through different floors. Second, most (not all) staffs do not seem to like working there. I understand it's a very busy working environment especially with the opening hype, but I would expect to see more passionate and happy SAs to offer help. Kudos to a male staff member working around the fitting room with a deep and soothing voice and the female at the embroidery station. They both made me feel very welcome!! Similar situation for the katsute cafe. The cakes are only out for a specific time, while they could have put out a big and obvious sign for that. Instead, they were impatient with the customer who did not know that. Also, I feel like they should provide some recommendations about the drink choices as most products are new for non-Japanese. The cakes were great tho. All in all, I love the brand, met a few keen staff members but most of them lack motivation and mafe me feel unwelcome! I cannot give them 5 stars based on my first two visiting experiences and hope they will improve it in the future.

A lovely addition to Princes Street, fantastic store, lovely layout and lots of products on offer. Upstairs there is a fantastic cafe, offering a great view of Edinburgh Castle! They have a selection of Japanese teas/coffees/soft drinks. They have selection of Japanese cakes too, which are very popular, once sold out you have to wait for replenish at selected times throughout the day. 5pm was the final time for replenishing and the Matcha Crepe cake was the first to sell out! Ordered an Iced Matcha Latte, a strong matcha taste, exactly what I hoped for! Not too many seats, so do go either early or later on in the afternoon.

Soooooo happy to see Uniqlo in Edinburgh ! I've been waiting for a long time ! The interior looks absolutely stunning :) Im not a fan of Irn-bru but the embroidery collection was enough to attract visitors here. There is also a tea room on the first floor. No any doubt about the quality of Uniqlo products. If you love classic or basic, try it. I've got another reason I should visit prince street ;^)
