Had a really terrible experience with this company. After buying a really expensive piece of furniture from them and subsequently returning it, I was refused my money back as they claimed the item was damaged by their courier in transit. Please avoid buying anything online from this company, the damage was either caused by them or their courier and I am now out of pocket by over £500. After I disputed the outcome with them, they then changed their terms and conditions online about returns to manipulate the liability onto me. I have ordered plenty of furniture online from other places and never once had an issue like this. Unscrupulous business with no customer service. Added following Breeze’s reply, to clarify, the Bank did not ‘rule in their favour’, the Bank were unable to help me as the dispute did not fall under the Consumer Credit Act. I contacted Citizens Advice who advised I make a court claim, and they also confirmed they would raise my complaint with Trading Standards. I have not continued with court action because I would have to pay out more money to make the claim, and I cannot cope with the additional stress that this business has already put me through, not to mention the additional charges they threatened to raise against me for storage costs.

After reading mixed reviews in November 2024 I decided to proceed with the purchase of an outdoor furniture set. Delivery was quoted as 6 weeks which was then delayed by a further 8 weeks. 7 months later the set arrived. I took the day off work to accept delivery and was absolutely shocked at the condition of the furniture. Almost every piece was significantly damaged or missing vital parts to assemble it. This had not happened in transit as the exterior packaging showed so signs of damage therefore it had knowingly been sent out in this condition. Cue another two weeks of emails back and forth as they apparently needed to involve the supplier. Unfortunately I'm just exhausted by the whole experience and we've asked for our money back as I don't feel like this company deserve our business.
