Clothes Mentor South Windsor, CT

Fantastic store to find the things you didn’t even know you needed, at a fraction of the cost!! 👌

I went in today looking for some new spring wear. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, they have changed the layout of the store. The short sleeve shirts are on a bottom rack rather than at a convenient level where you don’t gave to bend over to flip through the clothes. Upon entering the store the dresses are in the first rack. This creates a less organized appearance because they are not grouped by color or style. Hopefully they will go back to the original layout!

Called in to check on how there store policies work. The woman I spoke to was very polite very informative. They stop taking buys at 6pm —for your information. Extremely long wait times. Roughly (2 hours) I suggest dropping off and doing errands and coming back. They do text you when they are done looking at your items. Really clean neat store. Very busy parking lot.

Actually is the biggest joke to consign here- I dropped off a $400 Kate Spade bag still in the wrapping. The offered me $10 because the long strap wasn’t there, and told me they would have offered me $50 if it had the strap. I’m expecting to go in next week and see them selling it for $200. So if you see a mauve bag only buy for 10- and shop at Plato’s instead! And the people were so rude! Edited after response from business *: It should have been $40 for the bag and $10 knocked off for the strap. The response given by the owner makes no sense- I know someone that works there and that is not how it works. The girl priced it at the counter on the spot- so clearly you do price the items. Again, the information given to me was untrue and unprofessional.

If I could give it a 6 I would. Run don’t walk to Clothes Mentor! She staff is super friendly and nice. And the prices you cannot beat. Love love love this store! :)

Insulting what they pay out. I brought a total of 3 big containers with current styles , price tags on many of the items and they offered me $18.00 for a laundry basket full of clothes and shoes. I’d much rather donate or give away to friends and family.

I love the variety of labels and prices are very reasonable. I especially love pants section. Always need a good pair of pants for business casual attire for work. Must stop in your shopping experience

The staff was standoffish and rude from the minute I stepped into the shop. They already decided they didn’t want any of my clothing before looking at it. I don’t think they even looked at my things and that’s fine. They have the right to decide what they want and don’t, but please be nicer to customers.
