Our family loved purchasing the day passes from Snow Mountain Ranch. The office opens at 8:30 am and we got there about 8:15 am. You must get there early and purchase the passes the day of. When we purchased our passes we were able to schedule the tubing hill time. Our day was packed with fun. We play disc golf first. (I’d recommend downloading a disc golf app to see a map.) Then we did the tubing hill, craft shop and putt putt. At the craft shop we were able to purchase small crafts for our kids to do. There is also an awesome little park right by the tubing hill with a small zip line. I think our day at the YMCA was the highlight of our trip! We will be back soon and let all of our friends know about this treasure in Grandby.

We have stayed there, in a lodge room, twice. The first time it was very noisy with lots of thumping, doors slamming, banging, footsteps day and night. But I assumed it was just because we were near the entrance to the building and the stairwell. This time i requested a room near the lobby and it was even worse! Kids running around, people partying, babies crying, everyone shouting and talking. And then after quiet hours the banging/thumping started. Maybe these buildings are old and just not well insulated? ||Also last time, I got a stomach bug and was sick for the second half the trip. This time my 1 year old got a stomach bug which made the drive home very difficult. It could have been a coincidence but I did notice the bathroom at the dining hall was dirty. I'd suggest avoiding the dining hall if you can. Breakfasts are good but not worth a bout of vomiting and diarrhea. ||On the bright side, we had a GREAT time Nordic skiing! The trails are beautiful, plentiful, well kept and great for all levels. Most of the ymca staff didn't seem very friendly but at the Nordic center, they were super kind, helpful, and happy.

As a wedding planner I just took a group of 110 from New York to Snow Mountain Ranch for a week. We had the best time ever. The clients were so happy. Their wedding week included pickleball, kickball, hiking, horses, dogs, mini golf, square dancing and a beautiful wedding day. It was truly magical and I can't wait to take more clients to this wonderful place.

If I could I’d make this place a 0 star I would, never stay here or go here. Me and my family came to stay at this place for just a day of fun, first we went to the basketball court for maybe an hour, we where forced off by rude strangers wanting to play indoor pickle ball, when there are pickleball courts right outside, staff was unhelpful and disrespectful, after being kicked out we went to the pool, the lifeguard's have a very small limit of people allowed in the LARGE pool that they change to there own liking. so we went and did a hike for a couple hours came back and went to the pool as a last ditch effort. we finally got in!!! we went in and where instantly met with a 15 minute speech from the head lifeguard about safety, then we where sent to shower before we got in the pool. we got in the pool after a freezing shower and began to swim, I bet you can predict what happened…||they made us get out of the pool, because they flooded something in the closet, we where sent out after 5 minutes of swimming, all of my little cousins where crying, after literally having the worst day of their lives. we payed 500 dollars for one day, for a horrible experience. I HATE THIS PLACE, never come here, I am warning you

We had an amazing time. The cabin was well maintained and appointed, and it was easy to find our way around using the signage and map. The Rec Center was a huge hit with roller skating, basketball, volleyball, and a variety of table games. We enjoyed snow tubing, ice-skating, and snowshoeing on the grounds and we all loved the indoor pool with water slide. There was too much to do in the time we had, so we'll be back next year and plan to do a sleigh ride or horseback riding, rock wall, and cross-country skiing. The staff was so very friendly and helpful, and we felt like we were treated like family. My son kicked something and injured his toe, and the staff jumped right in and took such great care of him. For nearby family-friendly downhill skiing, we chose Granby Ranch (10-15 mins drive). We spent all day there and still wished we'd had more time. We had a blast and can't wait to come back! Thanks for taking such great care of the place!

We decided to take our children here from south Texas to experience a "White Christmas" and boy did we get what we had hoped for and better! ||We knew that this location was more likely than the Estes Park location to have snow on Christmas so we decided to come to Snow Mountain Ranch. ||After looking at the photos online we were prepared that this wasn't going to be a luxury resort. We prepared our children to all stay in one room and that most of our time would be spent outside the room enjoying the many activites they offer!||When we arrived we found the property to be breathtaking! Wooden lodges and cabins dot the rolling hills and with just the right amount of snow it literally looked like a snow village!!||There is coffee in every room and in the common area of the lodge, so you can have coffee right when you wake up! Then a short walk to the Commons for breakfast, lunch and dinner! ||The food offered was diverse and adequate for our family. Meals included fried chicken with sides, chili with cornbread, and other hearty entrees. They also had a full salad bar and lots of fresh fruit at breakfast!||There were so many wonderful activities on-site to keep our family occupied. With 2 boys who are up and ready to go first thing in the morning this was important! We tried cross-country skiiing, tubed down a tubing hill, ice sakted, and enjoyed basketball and pool in the indoor rec center. ||Winter Park offers a FREE bunny slope very near to the YMCA so we were able to take our kids there and let them rent skis and snowboards to try downhill on the bunny slope. So much fun! ||The nearby towns are cute and quaint and have plenty of restaurants to choose from as well as a grocery store within 20 minutes of the YMCA. I would recommend stopping on the way in and picking up some snacks to keep in your room for in between meals. ||Overall, we are glad we chose YMCA of the Rockies and we will be back!

Kinda fun to stay at the YMCA. They had some good activities and good meals. The rooms were rough, though. The bunk beds were rickety and seemed as if they'd break. And the bathroom wasn't much better. Everything else is great, just watch out for the rooms.

Nice family cabin. Gorgeous view of the mountains from the living room/dining room and the front porch. We went for the Nordic skiing, which is wonderful! Some of the trails are even dog friendly! Trails are well groomed. Highly recommend.
