Skate City Academy

This place is DIRTY. It’s first thing in the morning and there’s a group of teenagers chatting in the front for the entire sessions I was there all while making one person run the show. She’s skating back and forth from the music to the skate room for rentals. There’s nobody behind the counter for food. Nobody cleaning the slime off of the glass window divider things, nobody cleaning the disgusting walls covered in grease. This entire place needs to be deep cleaned. I don’t know that it’s been cleaned in the entire 20 years it’s been here. I can’t even go into the bathrooms, so I’m holding it.

I usually leave long reviews but I'll keep it short, to a point. Being my first time here, I didn't know it was the adult night, which they charge for you to go inside, even if you don't skate too! The skating ring was fine, I had no issues with it. The food was average at best, something you'll expect at a place like this. The music was decent. But all in all, it ain't so bad. I give it a 4/5 but the place could be better. Time will only tell. If you want to bring your friends and family, it's worth checking out at least once.

My kid just had her second bday here and both times it was a great experience. A bit more low key so the kids can visit, still enjoy an activity and not feel rushed through everything.

Listen my daughter had her birthday party they and I be honest I expected the worst but let me tell you the customer service (evett) and the manger made the experience great. I mean the package you get it worth it . When you get the birthday you get skates included. They provide ice because I brought my own cake. It was very organized. For the price you pay it’s worth it . It’s not over pricey. My daughter reall enjoy herself. Thank you

I reported to the manager that the inline skates were defective and painful and asked for a refund and to get my own skates, he told me that this was normal and at first would not refund me and then threatened to trespass me if I kept talking to him. I left when told I could return with my own skates. Upon return I went through the door then had one of the employees (Jason) put his hands on me attempting to prevent my entry. I was not aware that I was trespassed until I walked through and he told me he was calling the police. This is the most toxic and abusive employee I've ever seen. He at first said he wouldn't give me his name, then later said it was Cameron. Had my family not already been inside this wouldn't have been an issue but I wanted to ensure they were safe. I would love to speak to management if anyone has the contact information for this location off of academy.

My kids had such a blast with a school skate! I love the outside sign at night

Nothing in this location is accessible to those with disabilities. The snack bar on the offers pre-packaged snacks, or hot dogs. They have no napkins. They have no diet soda. I am here for a kid's birthday party I am in a wheelchair there's no way for me to get into the building, I had to switch over to a cane, fortunately I can still get by with that. It's very difficult for a person though to get in here. The steps are very high. A ramp is nowhere to be found of any kind.
