Love the vibes at the root!! It’s a very friendly environment almost like community. Its a lovely place to hangout. Made so many friends at the Root. The staff are chill and would love to give you a crash course on their products. Miles, Justin, Victor, ERock, Marissa are the best Kava Bartenders. Love this place!

I've been to Root Kava twice now, and looking forward to going again! The employees (kava-tenders? bartenders?) are super-knowledgeable about kava/kratom and welcoming to newcomers and regulars alike. Pricing is reasonable, and again, welcoming to newcomers. Both times I've gone have been to lurk during their weekly Saturday night Smash Brothers tournament. The event seems to draw a good crowd of folks without it taking over the entire space. Overall, The Root Kava Co. feels like a great nightlife, "third space" with a great community surrounding it.

The vibe was really cool and people were very friendly!! I will say, I’m not sure if Kava is for me, but the rest of the experience was 10/10! Only taking away a star bc I didn’t care for the taste of the kava

Fun non-alcoholic bar serving up kava and kratom drinks. Friendly staff and a fun atmosphere, with several video games stations, make this a worthwhile stop. Open late, as well!

This is my favorite place to hang out in Boulder! The kava and kratom used in the drinks are high quality, and the menu is full of creative drinks. Most of the people who go to The Root are regular customers, which creates a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The Root also hosts events like open mic nights, karaoke, and holiday parties. The kavatenders are incredibly friendly and provide excellent service.

One of the most enjoyable places I have ever been to. An amazing community of kind-hearted people who everyone just wants to be around. Incredibly friendly and welcoming to new customers, great events, a great co-working space, hangout spot with some live music or karaoke and everything in between. Truly couldn't recommend this spot more.
