Square State Skate

Could not be more impressed with this place. What an awesome group of people who really care about the kids that go there. They welcomed both my girls (7 and 9 with open arms). Professional. Fun. Encouraging. My only regret was not finding this place sooner. What a great part of the community and my girls loved every minute of hanging out with them at day camp. We will 100% be back. Edit a year later: this place still rocks.

This place is hands down the absolute greatest! Our kiddo has thrived at Square State and continues building valuable life skills through skateboarding, and it's because of the incredible staff here that make it all happen. Everyone is extremely cool, inviting, and supportive. The first time I walked into Square State it felt like entering a combination of a Tony Hawk video game and the coolest tree house you could've imagined as a kid. It is exactly the kind of place kids need more of in the modern world. We started off just doing drop-in after school sessions and quickly moved up to a membership. Check this place out, I guarantee you won't regret it.

This is an incredible operation run by passionate people who understand kids, teach skills and kindness, and have a great time. My kid's been going there for years, and I can't say enough good things about Square State.

This is my son's favorite summer camp (and he's done a lot!). I was floored by how wonderful, caring, and kind the whole community is, and the tone is very much set by the attentive and enthusiastic teachers. We are definitely going to sign up for more camps and events here!

My son has attended the summer camps at Square State Skate for 3 summers now. I cannot say enough good things about this program. Aside from the fact that my son has a blast every year, as a parent, I feel so good about his experience there. They focus a lot on providing amazing social emotional support for these kids, not to mention they are so positive and kind. Brian and his team do such a great job of meeting each kid at their level, I highly recommend this place for any kid wanting to learn how to skateboard.

These camps were the highlight of my 8 year old's summer! He went into it with no experience and gained skills, confidence and a new love for skateboarding! The staff was amazing and Brian answered all of my questions before signing up. The collectible cards are a hit a s well. GO BANJO!!! We look forward to more drop ins with Square State! This is such an amazing group of people who really care not only about helping kids learn to be better skaters, but also to be better humans, to take care of each other, support each other, and cheer each other on. Our kiddo has been going here for a few years and loves the summer skate camps so very much. He also sometimes does the school day off camps as well as some after school sessions and drop-in sessions in the awesome indoor squarehouse. This is by far our kiddo's favorite place to summer camp, riding around in vans to awesome skate parks in the area, bonding with fellow skaters and counselors both on the bus and at the skate parks, and getting to focus on learning and developing his skate trick skills. Hoping to try the overnight camp trip sometime soon - have heard great things about it! We are so lucky to have found this space, Brian and David and the other amazing coaches, and recommend it highly!
