Patagonia

I’m traveling across the country to visit every Patagonia store, and my stop in Boulder was one of the most memorable so far. I arrived winded from the elevation and nearly out of phone battery, but the staff truly went above and beyond to help me out. They found an outlet so I could charge my phone, let me rest in their cozy lounge area, refill my water bottle, and use the restroom—all of which I really needed after a long day of travel. I also picked up a store-specific shirt, patches, and stickers to add to my growing collection. I couldn’t be happier with the service and support I received here. Huge thanks to the Boulder team!

The staff here is absolutely wonderful! I had a kinda complicated return/exchange, but the fantastic staff member, Kenzie, was able to assist me splendidly and send me home with the right gear happily in hand. I really appreciate the kindness, patience, and professionalism of everyone at this store, especially her. The store itself is beautiful and organized: a reflection of the amazing people. Oh, and also the products rock!! Thank you for being so great :-)

I'm not at all surprised that there is a Patagonia in Boulder. I cannot think of a city and company whose reputations more closely align. That said, I love just wandering through the store, feeling the earthy atmosphere and looking at an abundance of outdoorsy gear and equipment. I appreciated the wood flooring, the cool, understated atmosphere, and the pictures of distant natural beauty adorning the walls. The climate pledges and statements of the company's eco history feel much more natural and earnest here than they do in some random big-box store like Walmart or Target.

What happened to Patagonia? The customer service in this store is abysmal, due to in particular one employee (a man with long hair) whom can be seen mentioned in a least one other review. Specifics aside this store is generally unwelcoming. As for Patagonia as whole it seems their quality has taken a dramatic dive over the years (although the prices certainly haven't) with most products trending more towards athleasure and imitation workwear than the high praised outdoor gear they used to produce.

I always have a great experience at this boulder location. I genuinely appreciate the longevity of Patagonia's products, as well as their environmental advocacy. Graham was very helpful the day that I was in. He was kind and knowledgeable about the the technical aspects of the gear as well as my needs. He patiently answered all of my questions, helped me navigate a jacket issue, and we came up with a great solution. The Boulder Patagonia, once again, has a happy long term customer!

We were just being tourists and checking out Pearl St. Didn’t expect to buy anything. We were either lucky on timing or Patagonia has decent deals/prices. Ended up buying several things on sale, which again wasn’t our intention. Either way glad we stopped in!

I cannot say enough about Patagonia. I had a coat that I loved but just had reached the point of unable to patch anymore and I went in to ask if they had any ideas and they did. They offered me a discount on a code and I am completely satisfied with their customer service! Thank you so much!

Had a frustrating experience at the Patagonia store on 12/8. My partner asked an employee (a man with long hair) whether a shirt she was trying on was for men or women. His response was, "I don't know. Check the tag. It's usually behind your neck." While it's understandable to admit not knowing the answer, it was disappointing that he didn't make any effort to help find out. After all, it's not easy for someone to check a tag that's behind their neck. The dressing rooms were also very dirty.
