Was recommended by a friend to come here and my experience did not disappoint. Felt very comfortable and that the staff is very trained and knowledgeable. I am very happy with the service and the boots I got. Businesses like this are truly a gem and I feel blessed to have gotten to enjoy the experience at Larry’s. Zack was my fitter and he was great, personable, and knowledgeable. Very core to the heart of Boulder and its people. All around great place. There’s a reason they have a good reputation.

Really been wanting to avoid writing this but feel spiffed and think it would be a disservice not to share. I walked out with boots at the beginning of this season and didn't notice that one of the boots outer molding was messed up until my second day skiing it. Brought it back to the shop a couple times, but seems like replacing the boot with one that isn't jacked up isn't an option due to the clear signage of no returns or exchanges. Being a novice to the sport I didn't have the foresight to examine the boot prior to walking out with it for any defects but at the price I paid for these (1200+ oh also there will be a tip prompt), feel pretty unsatisfied to have been left with defective boots. The guys in the shop will do their best to make it right with adding/taking away material but that doesn't change the fact that I feel like I spent over a grand on boots that came busted up. If you're going to come here, be aware this one is a little more expensive than comparable shops and definitely thoroughly examine what you're buying before you fork over the cash.

Amazing shop and staff. My wife and I both bought our boots here and had a great experience. My wife in particular was impressed how they didn't mansplain and weren't condescending like a lot of ski shops. It's a process to get the boots to fit right, and don't expect it to happen fast, but this is your team for awesome ski boots.

I was looking for a specific boot- front tilt ( now it's called K2). I paid the $100, went to my appointment and was never told they did not have the boot. A very nice man had me try several different boots, none of them what I was looking for. Finally I noticed some front tilt boots, I asked to be fitted with them. They felt ok, but something was off. I was informed that those were men's boots...I was told they would call me when ladies boots would arrive. Now almost 5 months later and no call...The owner initially contacted me via text wandering why I was upset? Maybe because you kept my 100$ and had no boots I was looking for? We knew Larry and were always treated fairly the shop was sold and coats on previous reputation! Don't be fooled!!! It's not the same service and honesty- STAY AWAY!!!!

Dude. Cannot beat this place. The staff are incredible. So attentive and knowledgeable. They have customers coming in from all over Colorado, and for good reason! I even got a special *treat* while hanging out. Loved talking with Dan and hearing his philosophy and seeing how he runs the place. Please give this place your money, it’s worth every penny! My boots fit amazing and I’ll be riding them for years to come because of this place!!

Incredibly patient staff who are happy to help a range of skiers - newbies to experienced skiers who’ve never quite gotten their boots right. It took me a few weeks to make an appointment to adjust my old boots, but some drop-ins were also accommodated if staff were free. My 90min appointment turned into almost 3hrs without feeling rushed - just to make sure they’d made all the needed adjustments to a new pair of boots (without upselling). I’m excited to try out my new boots on the mountain soon!

I walked in to make an appointment for some boot adjustments around noon on a weekday, but fortunately they had a slot for me right away and I had my boots with me. They did get super busy while I was there so I would definitely recommend making an appointment. They make it very easy online to do so. A boot-fitter named Liam helped me out and the work was great. Everyone was super helpful and the price was about half of what I expected it to be. Can’t go wrong here…

If they don’t have the boot you want in the right size you may walk away $100 lighter with a “try again next year” I’ve been to Larry’s quite a few times and used to recommend them to anyone in the front range. I went in for a new touring boot; tried a few boots and found a decent boot that was a bit soft, the stiffer boot was only in stock a size up and a size down so that means I lose my deposit and don’t have boots either. I appreciate they didn’t try to push me to buy the wrong boot for me. With the new deposit I can only say get an appointment in the fall or try calling ahead to ask what is in stock and hope it’s still there when your appointment comes around
