I wanted a white suit where the coat tails lengthened into a train - combining the styles of wedding suit, bridal gown, and kittel. Admittedly, this is an unusual request, but Ludwig embraced it, talked it through with me until he fully got it, then fitted it and remade it as many times as was needed to make it perfect. He did all this in a short period of time, and for cheaper than you would expect. I am so thrilled to be able to say I wore a unique bespoke outfit from Saville Row for my wedding. I thought it looked amazing. I will send over professional photos when they come through.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Ludwig at Cad & The Dandy, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the initial consultation to the final fitting, Ludwig guided me through the bespoke suit-making process with professionalism and enthusiasm. His attention to detail and commitment to ensuring the perfect fit were evident at every stage. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, but his friendly demeanor made the entire process enjoyable. The final suit exceeded my expectations in both quality and fit. I highly recommend Cad & The Dandy, and especially Ludwig, to anyone seeking exceptional tailoring services.

Just throwing my bespoke suit in the bin. Heartbreaking. And as a form of catharsis, I’m writing this review. I went to Cad & The Dandy in June 2023 for my first Savile Row suit. I’d visited nearly every tailor on the Row, but was won over by Harry at CATD - easily the most charming and attentive. He patiently walked me through the process and answered every question. It was the perfect start to my suiting disaster. I returned a week later to begin the process, and between June 2023 and April 2024, I ended up making an exhausting number of visits to the store. The issues began - and never really ended - with the trousers. Ironically, Harry had referred to them as “the easy part.” The initial toile fit well, but the actual trousers were another story - poorly fitted and obviously wrong, a fact even the staff acknowledged. They were altered five or six times (at least) before I had a firm conversation with James, which led to a complete remake. That second pair, unfortunately, came with a whole new problem - a rise so low it felt like they were styled after denim jeans, not a bespoke suit. Too many alterations later, and yet more time and visits, they still didn’t fit. The jacket had its own issues - a persistent shoulder crease - but I put that on the “deal with later” list in an effort to get something wearable out of the process. As time passed, CATD’s interest in finishing the project clearly declined. The work and communication reflected that. After one particularly uninspired fitting in April - ten months after my first appointment - I gave up, having to relocate abroad. The suit has mostly sat untouched in my wardrobe ever since. Poorly finished hems, a creased shoulder, and trousers that fit like off-the-rack jeans. I wore it twice - mainly as a device to remind myself of how disappointing it is, and how far it fell short of what I’d hoped for. Recently, I visited a local tailor. We found a fabric close to the one I’d originally chosen and started fresh. That suit has already seen regular wear. I love how it fits and how it makes me feel. I’m ordering another in charcoal next week - and will make room in the wardrobe by throwing the CATD one away. A complete waste of time, money, energy, and fabric. Years later, I’m glad I found someone else to make my suits and would urge others to do the same.

Excellent customer service from the entire team in Savile Row. The bespoke suit and shirt I wore for my wedding last month were well-made and of great quality. I would like to particularly thank Ludwig Wase for his guidance and expert advice all throughout the process in terms of suit design, fabric choice and for his helpful tips. He is a real professional and so skilled in what he does. Extremely happy overall!

These gents, and they really are gents, are the best in the business. The service was absolutely second-to-none. Dom, the Alex's, the senior management team (who are always about), all of them are just wonderful people. A business that's been built the right way, with the right people and right energy. Couldn't be more grateful to them for everything throughout my wedding process and beyond. If you needed a sign to help you choose where to get your next suit from, please let this be it. You won't regret it.

Cad and the Dandy were brilliant in helping me design my wedding suit. In particular Daniel F. was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and able to make great recommendations on material, design and he even tied my tie beautifully ahead of the big day (also he's just a great guy)! Couldn't recommend Cad and the Dandy more highly for anyone looking to have a bespoke suit made. If I'm ever in need of another suit, I know where I'll be going!

Absolutely fantastic outfit on Savile Row. If you want the quality of traditional men's Row tailoring, but with a bunch of guys that know the modern trends and will come up with something unique and stylish for you, this is absolutely the place. Great service, great team, extremely high quality clothing in a reasonable turn-around time for a great price. Very happy with the 15+ jackets, suits, trousers that I have had made there, with a great mixture of formal and semi-formal for the '2 days in the office' life we're now living.
