Urban Outfitters

My granddaughter Julia works there so I decided to pay her a visit. The store is very unique and in a busy part of Tempe. The clothes are mainly, but not all, for anyone younger than myself, but I still was able to find something to buy.

Was at the Tempe location today and dealt with the rudest two “sales associates” I have ever come across. Was prepared to drop $500, but after dealing with the two counter people, I left everything except the gift I needed to buy. Asked if there was a bathroom and was told “no, go ask next door”. It wasn’t just the answer it was the way it was delivered. Urban Outfitter, for the prices you charge do better hiring your help. I won’t be back, there are way too many other places I can spend my money!!

Went in for simple mens shirt. Tshirt or polo. They dont recognize "men". Nowhere to find.

Aryanne is amazing and helped me find a skirt I’ve been looking for everywhere because it’s sold out. She went above and beyond and found it at a different location. Amazing

I love URBN as a company but I have to be honest that this is the worst store I’ve ever been to. I walked in with stuff that I wanted to return, 4 people were at the front desk yet NO ONE greeted me. They were all chatting among themselves and sitting on the table. As a former employee myself, I know that URBN employees are not allowed to sit when customers are present, let alone sitting there talking and totally ignoring me. Finally a dude with tattoos approached me and asked if I needed any help. He was extremely helpful and I appreciate him. However, the rest of the employees there are totally disrespectful and unprofessional. I hope the management will see this review and reinforce the employee standards.

They have some great rock band T-shirts for a reasonable price. Picked up a Nirvana happy face T-shirt. They Also they sell albums from $24 up to $34. New albums only, no used. If you are Checking out albums make sure you check out their floor bin to the left of the main album shelf, this is their sale bin and there’s usually a lot of good albums in there for $14.99 or so. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Ok so I ordered something online and returned it to this location. I had to return it to a gift card and then use the gift card for my purchase because it didn’t equal the total amount refunded. Anyways when I went to use the gift card it was like defect or something and my transaction was like useless. After waiting and waiting they got the store owner (I think) And he handled it so well, turning my drama in to a pretty good customer service opportunity. It was handled by him immediately in a way that I, the cashier , and him were content - problem solved. I grew up shopping at this location and still frequent it, so I was happy! Thanks!

It's a pretty cool set up they have, with the little mid level vinyl area. Good place to find trendy cuts of men's shirts. Staff is always around if you need them. Prices are good for sale items or if you have a coupon. If you sign up for Urban On you usually won't have to pay full price.
